Catherine Jacobson PhD

Catherine is dedicated to advancing the knowledge of cannabinoid-based medicines by working with regulatory authorities and various healthcare stakeholders to ensure patients in need around the world have reliable access to safe, regulated, pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis. Catherine works collaboratively with Tilray’s global team, government regulators, physicians and pharmacists to create effective systems for Tilray to enter new medical cannabis markets, contributing to the company’s global expansion strategy.

Previously, Catherine served as Director of Clinical Research, where she identified opportunities for clinical research partnerships that fulfill Tilray's goal of advancing knowledge of cannabinoid science by partnering with physicians and medical institutions to generate data that will inform best treatment practices. This data includes information on appropriate dosages, potential adverse effects, and other considerations important to patient populations given the particular symptoms and natural history of each disease.
