Catherine Galvin PhD

Catherine R. Galvin is an Engineering academic, teaching electronics and systems engineering at the Australian National University. As convener of the final year Capstone course here at ANU, she provides opportunities for our Capstone students to work closely with external engineering firms; developing strong relationships between ANU and our industry partners. In 2023 she took up the mantle of President of Engineers Australia, Canberra Division, and looking forward to working in that role. With her interest in developing engineering solutions for orthopedic surgeons, she is co-founder and CEO of Viortec Pty Ltd.
