Catherine E. Perez MD

Catherine is originally from the far west Chicago suburbs but ventured out to Atlanta, Georgia to get her BS in biology at Emory University and minor in Chinese. While there she was active in anime club and NERD club. She returned to Chicago for medical school at the University of Illinois and then came here to Michigan for her AP/CP pathology residency due to their ample opportunities and forensic training. She also accepted the forensic pathology fellowship position here. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets (2 cats, a dog, and snake) and fiancé, board games, tabletop games, and napping.
