Catherine Albright

Dr. Albright is an associate professor in the division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. She is the associate fellowship program director and the director of hypertension in pregnancy and cardio-obstetrics programs. She has a long-standing interest in sepsis in obstetrics which originated during residency when it became clear to her that the standard screening algorithms were generally unhelpful during pregnancy. Since then, she has been highly involved in researching and implementing pregnancy-specific sepsis screening protocols.
