Carsten C. Schermuly, the qualified psychologist, is Vice President for Research and Transfer at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Director of the Institute for New Work and Coaching (INWOC). His research focuses include the consequences of diversity in work teams, the quality of personnel selection and development measures, and the psychological perspective on the topic of New Work (psychological empowerment). As a rarity in German personnel research, he has completed his habilitation on the topic of empowerment and New Work. For his research, he has been awarded the Erdinger Coaching Prize, the German Coaching Prize of the DBVC, and awards from Harvard Business School (2017) and Henley Business School (2020 and 2021). He has also worked as a trainer and organizational consultant for over ten years. His practical activities are based on his academic focus. He is a former scholarship holder of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation and a scientific advisor to others. B. at the umbrella organization of German management associations (ULA) and the magazine Organisationsberatung, Supervision, Coaching. In 2021, he was elected to the group of 40 leading HR minds in Germany.
