Carolyn Tarrant is currently working as a Wellcome Trust postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Leicester. Prior to this, she worked as a Research Associate on a number of studies in the Department of Health Sciences, most of which focused on patients’ experience of care, and aspects of the professional-patient relationship. This has included research into the meaning of continuity in primary care, and the association between continuity and trust. She obtained her first degree in Psychology at the University of Leicester (1992). She was awarded her PhD in March 2007, from the University of Leicester School of Psychology.
