Dr. Carolyn E. Come is a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). She is also an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.
She received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She then completed a residency at BWH and a fellowship at the Harvard Combined Pulmonary and Critical Care program. She is board-certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine, and pulmonary disease.
Dr. Come’s research interests are in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and emphysema. Her clinical research involves retrospective analyses of large scale databases with prospective clinical studies of new therapies, including endoscopic lung volume reduction. She has authored over 10 peer-reviewed publications and has received funding from the National Institutes of Health.
