Carolyn Brehm BS

Carolyn Brehm is Associate Director in Digital Clinical Trials within the Global Clinical Operations department for Bristol-Myers Squibb. She is responsible for the overall leadership of our clinical trial website, BMS Study Connect. Carolyn is a passionate and effective collaboration, knowledge and content professional with expertise in project management, communications and information management.
Focused on putting patients at the center of her work, Carolyn is leading the development of a connected digital experience for patients and their care team to engage with BMS before, during and after a clinical trial. She is achieving this by partnering with key stakeholders, driving execution of enhancements and maintenance, and developing an analytics strategy, comprehensive communication plan, and application business processes.
Before this role, Carolyn supported the implementation of collaboration tools for Bristol-Myers Squibb by ensuring the centrally-developed strategies are adopted and implemented by the R&D organization. She built and supported several high quality collaboration and content solutions including Disease Strategy websites, and she helped develop and manage a key knowledge management initiative that included a robust scientific search tool.
Carolyn started her career in Construction Management. In 2002 she transitioned into Knowledge Management where she played an instrumental role in the implementation of enterprise communications, collaboration and information strategies, including expertise locator, communities of practice, and collaboration sites. Carolyn is an effective collaboration professional with a strong project management skillset that has been instrumental to her success.
