Caroline Sabin

Caroline Sabin is Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the University of London. She has been working for many years on the analysis of large-scale HIV observation databases, with a strong interest in raising awareness of the biases inherent in these databases. She is the principal investigator of the UK CHIC study. In 2000, she launched the collaborative study of an HIV-infected British cohort (UK CHIC), a major multi-center study observing more than 30,000 HIV-infected individuals. This multi-center study is of a scale almost unmatched worldwide.
