Carol Y. Ochoa-Dominguez is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences at the University of California San Diego and a recipient of the NCI F99/K00 grant. She completed her doctoral training from the University of Southern California in the Health Behavior Research Program. Before her doctorate training, she served as the Cancer Survivorship workgroup ORISE Fellow within the Epidemiology and Applied Research Branch in the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control (DCPC) at CDC. She joined DCPC in 2016 after receiving her MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University and she received her BA from UCLA in 2013. Her research interests include issues related to health behaviors and the role of social determinants in promoting health and improving health equity among underserved populations, particularly in cancer prevention and control and immigrant populations.
