Carol L. Wagner MD

Dr. Carol Wagner is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina and Associate Director of Nexus Research Center. Dr. Wagner gained her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1989 and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine since 1992. Her research areas include neonatal and infant nutrition, bioactive properties of human milk, lactation, and the vitamin D requirements of pregnant and lactating women and their infants.
