Carnielli Virgilio MD, PhD

Virgilio P. Carnielli, MD, Ph.D., is a Professor of Neonatal Pediatrics at the Polytechnical University of Marche. He is also Director of Neonatal Medicine at G. Salesi Hospital in Ancona, Italy. One of the main research areas of Prof. Carnielli is fetal and neonatal nutrition with special focus on lipid metabolism. Prof. Carnielli is a member of several professional associations, he serves as editor and he is in the editorial board of several scientific journals.
