Carmit Strauss PharmD

Dr. Carmit Strauss is an Executive Director, Head of Risk Management and Organ Toxicity at Takeda. Dr. Strauss obtained her PharmD at the University of Southern California and completed her industry Post-Doctoral fellowship in medical affairs at Baxter Bioscience.

Dr. Strauss has global medical affairs and medical communications experience as well as Safety and Pharmacovigilance experience. Dr. Strauss worked at Baxter as an associate director of Medical Affairs, She also worked as a Pharmacovigilance lead at Protalix. She has expertise in risk management plan development, risk communication and risk minimization design, implementation and evaluation, structured benefit-risk assessment, and patient-centered approaches.
