Dr. Carmen Ribes-Koninckx, Head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Section of the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe has been appointed Coordinator of the Special Celiac Disease Interest Group of the European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN)
Dr. Ribes, as coordinator of the celiac disease group, will be responsible in this European society, to coordinate the different areas of work and to establish strategies around celiac disease, as well as to promote the development of clinical guidelines for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the pathology.
