Carmen Luna-paredes PhD

Prof. Carmen Luna-Paredes obtained her PhD in 2009 with a thesis on the prevalence of snoring and other symptoms of sleep apnea in an urban Area in Madrid, Spain. Since 1998 she works at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid, where she did her Paediatric training and where she currently coordinates the Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and Allergy Section and is a funding member of the Paediatric Airway Unit. She holds a position as Associate Professor and is affiliated with the Department of Paediatrics of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her clinical practice and main research interest focus on chronic conditions such as cystic fibrosis, severe craniofacial anomalies, children with neuromuscular diseases/or dependent on respiratory technologies. She has published a number of papers on these issues in international journals
