Carmen George

Carmen has been an STN for over 30 years. Since completing a Stoma Wound and continence course in 1986, stoma wound and continence nursing have become an integral part of her life. Carmen has extensive experience as an STN- in private and public hospitals as well as in the community, currently, she is employed as the Stomal Therapy/Wound Clinical Nurse Consultant at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Melbourne. In addition to working clinically, she is actively involved with the World Council of Stomal Therapy (WCET) and the Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses (AASTN).
