Carlos Pastore MD, PhD

Carlos Alberto Pastore graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of ABC (1974) a specialist in Cardiology (1977) and from the Brazilian Medical Association and Brazilian Society of Cardiology in 1995 Doctorate in Cardiology (1992), Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2004), has training in group analytical psychotherapy from the Sociedade Paulista de Psicoterapia Group Analytical.

He currently holds the position of Vice-President of the Zerbini Foundation, Medical Director of Telemedicine, and Director of the Resting Electrocardiography Clinical Unit of the Heart Institute of HC-FMUSP, an institution where he has worked since 1977. He also serves as a Member of the Medical Accreditation Commission from HC-FMUSP. He is a medical collaborator professor at the University of Sao Paulo and advisor to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and reviewer of scientific articles for the journals Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia and Journal of Electrocardiology, among others.
