Carlos Alberto Mandarim-de-Lacerda, MD, PhD is a Professor of the Laboratory of Morphometry, Metabolism, and Cardiovascular Diseases at the Rio de Janeiro State University. He received a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. His research interests are Cardiovascular Disease, Immunohistochemistry, Cell Biology, Insulin Resistance, Hypertension, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Atherosclerosis, Blood Pressure.
