Carlos Ferrando, MD, PhD, DESA is a Head of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona in Spain. He is a CIBER of Respiratory Diseases at Carlos III Health Institute. He completed his MSc at the University of Valencia. He specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive care.
