Carl Robert Barr DO

Dr. Carl R. Barr is a native of Pennsylvania. He attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his degree in osteopathic medicine. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Md. Dr. Barr retired from the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander and served for 27 years, including during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Dr. Barr is board-certified in Neurology, with special qualifications in Child Neurology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Neurology, Child Neurology Society and American Epilepsy Society. Dr. Barr is director of Child Neurology for Florida Hospital for Children and has privileges at Florida Hospital for Children, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Pennsylvania.
