prof. Dr. Can Omer Kalayci was born in 1963 in Ankara. Graduated from Istanbul Private American Robert High School in 1980, the physician completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1980 and 1986. He continued his professional education in Child Health and Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine as a research assistant between 1990 and 1994 and as a chief assistant between 1993 and 1994. He was at the New York State University, Allergy and Clinical Immunology Unit for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology education. Between 1995 and 1997, he received specialization training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Allergy and Asthma Unit, Department of Pediatrics.
He was a visiting scientist at the Novartis Asthma and Allergy Laboratory in Basel, Switzerland. In 2000, at Boston Harvard Medical School, He worked as a visiting scientist at Brigham and Women's Hospital for two years. Associate professor of pediatrics in 1996; In 2003, he received the title of professor of pediatrics. He also served as the General Secretary and Board Member of the National Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society. He is the editor of many national and international scientific publications and journals that produce scientific publications, and he is a member of associations.
