Camilla Trab Damsgaard is an Associate Professor of Child Nutrition at Copenhagen University, Kobenhavn, Copenhagen (Hovedstaden), Denmark. Her main focus is the effects of fish, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and Nordic foods on cardiometabolic markers in childhood. She also looks at immune function, cognitive function, and other aspects of child health and has profound experience with randomized controlled trials in children. She currently leads the FiSK Junior study - a randomized controlled trial investigating the effects of oily fish on cardiometabolic health, cognitive function, and behaviour in 8-9 year-old Danish children.
