Dr. Camila Londono-Obregon moved to San Antonio in 2012 to join Pediatric Cardiology Associates after completing her pediatric cardiology fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr Londono-Obregón grew up in Colombia and completed her medical training at San Francisco de Quito University in Ecuador. She earned a scholarship from the Dutch government which allowed her to go to Holland to do research in heart failure and arrhythmias. In 2003 she returned to Colombia where she practiced underserved medicine and taught at the local university for 3 years. In 2006, she moved to the U.S. where she did her residency training in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and her cardiology training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, PA She is board-certified in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
Dr. Londono is a member of the San Antonio Pediatric Society, the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Association, and the American Society of Echocardiography. Her areas of interest within pediatric cardiology include adults with congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and non-invasive imaging. She is invested in establishing long-term relationships with her patients and families with the objective of transitioning patients into adulthood in a smooth fashion with the goal of helping each individual attain their maximum potential. Camila is married to Ernesto Blanco, MD who was born and raised in San Antonio where he now practices as a pediatric radiologist. They are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities. Camila's hobbies include sculpture and acrylic painting.
