Dr. Cameron Platell is a colorectal surgeon who is currently director of the Colorectal Cancer Unit at Saint John of God Hospital Subiaco. In addition, he is a Winthrop Professor at the University of Western Australia, and the Director of Research at the Bendat Comprehensive Cancer Centre. His main areas of research are prognostic and predictive markers of survival in patients with colorectal cancer, and colorectal audit and outcomes.
