Caitlin Posillico is the Program Manager for the Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (QMSS) minor in LSA. In this role, she serves as an undergraduate academic advisor for current and prospective QMSS students, handles curriculum and administrative responsibilities for the program, and works with current and prospective partners for the immersive QMSS Capstone Course, QMSS 451.

Caitlin started her career in student services and academic affairs while completing her Ph.D. in Biopsychology at the University of Michigan. She served as an undergraduate academic advisor in the Psychology Department where she worked with students on course planning and selection, major declarations and releases, and graduate school and career exploration and preparation. She also helped develop and launch the Psychology Department’s STAR Scholars Program – an educational outreach initiative designed to increase underrepresented and minority students’ engagement with undergraduate research by teaching the “hidden curriculum” of research in academia through seminars, workshops, and mentorship.
