C. H. Stuart Charleson JD

Stuart Charlson began his career as an employment attorney. As an attorney, he served as a staff attorney with the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor in Chicago, as well as Associate Attorney with an employment law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin representing small to mid-sized family businesses and Fortune 500 companies. He has worked with clients on traditional labor law, wage disputes, discrimination claims, employee misconduct, OSHA citations, layoffs, investigations, handbooks, and policy development. After relocating to Florida, his consulting work focused on employee handbooks, manager training, lawsuit prevention, HR compliance, risk management, and human resource consulting. He has advised hundreds of Florida companies from industries, including manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, medical, technology, and professional services. In addition, he worked in two corporate HR/safety positions for clients needing more in-depth guidance and HR engagement. In those roles, he led an HR Department through a business closure, as well as led a Tampa-based business through growth and a sale to private equity. These experiences gave Stuart the chance to expand his leadership skills and effectively guide owners and management during organizational change. Stuart is also a veteran of the United States Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General Corps.
