Byung- Ju Yi PhD

Byung- Ju Li received his bachelor’s degree from Mechanical Engineering of Hanyang University in 1984, his master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986, and his Ph.D. from Mechanical Engineering of The University of Texas at Austin in 1991. He has served as the general chair for URAI 2009 (Ubiquitous Robots and Ambient Intelligence), Program Co-Chair for ICMA2007 (IEEE Conference on Mechatronics and Automation), and Associate Editor of IEEE Transaction on Robotics (2005-2008). He has also served as a visiting Professor at Johns Hopkins university in 2004, Assistant Professor of Korea Institute of Technology & Education from 1992-1995, The University of Texas at Austin, Post Doctor in 1992, and has been a Professor of Hanyang University since 1995.
