Dr. Burt Greenberg achieved his surgical education in plastic, general, and hand surgery at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania and at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery , Fellow at The American College of Surgeons and numerous state and local societies. A well deserved recipient of these laurels that demonstrate the array of Dr. Greenberg’s talents and accomplishments, he has been expertly practicing aesthetic surgery for almost three decades.
In addition to his busy practice in Great Neck, Long Island, Dr. Burt Greenberg stays abreast of the current analysis and discussions in the field of aesthetic surgery. Dr. Burt Greenberg is involved in the contemporary dynamics of new clinical and bench research, as well as teaching, and incorporates the newest technology and techniques into his busy practice. Dr. Burt Greenberg has written extensively in peer-reviewed publications on facial reconstruction, and presented worldwide, thusly achieving membership in the prestigious International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.
Burt Greenberg has served on national plastic surgical based committees and boards. He has recently been appointed to the ethics committee of The American Society for Maxillofacial Surgery. A member of the Society since 2005, Dr. Burt Greenberg has worked in developing nations across the world, conducting global discovery and treatment for craniofacial birth defects. Through the assistance of the Heroes for Hope, New York Yankees organization, children suffering from cranial defects and brain deformity issues are brought to the United States for reconstruction.
