Bulent Antmen

Dr Antmen was born in Mersin in 1964. After completing his preuniversity education in Mersin, he graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 1987. He completed pediatrics specialty education in 1992 in Cukurova University, Faculty of Medicine, and pediatric hematology subspeciality in the Department of Pediatric HematologyOncology of the same faculty. He was appointed to assistant professorship in 1993, associate professorship in 1999 and professorship in 2005. He has been an observative researcher in the bone marrow transplantation unit of The Royal Free Hospital, London in 1992.

As a member of the Çukurova University Medical Faculty Haemophilia and Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit, Dr Antmen has pioneered the performance of radioactive synovectomy and other orthopedic surgical procedures in haemophilia patients with and without inhibitors.He is currently working on Department of Pediatric HematologyOncology, Haemophilia Center and he is director of Hematopoetic Stem Cell Transplantation unit in Adana Acibadem Hospital, Turkey. He is a member of Turkish Hemophilia Federation and Çukurova Hemophilia Association Boards.
