Dr Bruce Biccard is an anesthesiologist, Professor and Second Chair in the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. His research interests include the epidemiology of the cardiovascular disease, perioperative cardiovascular risk prediction and risk modification, perioperative medicine and perioperative outcomes. He is an active member of the South African Perioperative Research Group (SAPORG).
