Brian Robinson is Senior Lecturer, Graduate School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health, Victoria University of Wellington where he teaches patient safety, applied pathophysiology, and clinical pharmacology. Brian studied physiology and completed a PhD in pathophysiology with research fellowships in anaesthesia safety and clinical pharmacology of anaesthetic agents. In 1997 he established the first patient simulation training facility in New Zealand at Wellington Hospital
