Brian L. Shaffer MD

Dr. Shaffer is a perinatologist, specializing in high-risk pregnancies when complex medical issues may arise, and moms and babies need special care. He sees patients with both potential and known problems. His research focuses on the short-term and long-term health of children diagnosed with a fetal anomaly. He has advanced training in genetics, ultrasound, fetal diagnostics and fetal therapy (interventions to treat fetal anomalies in utero).
