Brett Stacey, M.D., is a board-certified physician and medical director at the Center for Pain Relief at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Stacey’s greatest satisfaction as a physician is when I help someone regain what has been lost to them because of their pain.

Dr. Stacey earned his M.D. from the University of Michigan. He is board-certified in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He served on the board of directors of the American Board of Pain Medicine from 2000 to 2003. He has more than 50 publications and several ongoing research projects focused on moving new treatments into patient care. He has a particular interest in patients with neuropathic pain including neuropathy, nerve injury, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Another focus of his practice is treating patients with ongoing spinal pain.
