Brent D. Matthews MD

Dr. Brent Matthews is Professor and Chair of Surgery at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte Campus and Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the Senior Medical Director of the Surgery Care Division for the Carolinas HealthCare System. Dr. Matthews is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, President and a Governor of the American Hernia Society, Governor of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and a member of the American Surgical Association and Southern Surgical Association.
