Dr. Brenner has played a key role in the podiatric community. He is a renowned national and international lecturer as well as a consultant to major institutions in the areas of podiatric dermatology and diabetic foot management. Dr. Brenner is the Editor of the textbook Management of the Diabetic Foot, Williams & Wilkins Publisher. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Brenner has over 275 lectures,150 published articles, numerous videos, and nationwide radio/television tours to his credit. Dr. Brenner has contributed to many medical textbooks and is the author and editor of "The Management of the Diabetic Foot" commonly used for academic purposes. Dr. Brenner has been a member of the APMA for 39 consecutive years and is a 2-term past President of the American Society of Podiatric Dermatology. He received Board Certified in 1994 in podiatric medicine and orthopedics and is presently on the medical staff of North Shore Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital, both in Long Island, New York.
Dr. Brenner is comfortable lecturing on practice management, podiatric dermatology, and diabetic foot pathology. He has 39 years of clinical experience, which has included treating many VIPs, professional and college athletes, and numerous professional musicians. His outward and dynamic personality makes him a demanded speaker for podiatric, dermatological, as well as other medical audiences.
