Brenna Kelley-Clarke, Ph.D., is a virologist and gene therapy expert with more than 15 years of experience advancing viral vector development, analytical sciences, and CMC strategy for cell and gene therapy programs. She earned her doctorate from Harvard University and has built a career leading multidisciplinary teams across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Most recently, Brenna served as Senior Director and Head of Vector Attribute Sciences at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she led teams focused on viral vector analytics, formulation development, and process optimization. Her work supported AAV and lentiviral vector platforms, as well as emerging non-viral gene delivery technologies, helping programs navigate complex technical and regulatory challenges from early research through late-stage development.

Drawing on deep expertise in viral vector characterization and analytical strategy, Brenna founded Brenna Consulting to provide gene and cell therapy organizations with direct access to high-level scientific and development leadership without the overhead of large internal CMC or analytics groups. She partners with teams to design robust analytical roadmaps, streamline development strategies, and accelerate progress toward regulatory submission and commercialization.
