Dr. Prendergast is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Notre Dame in 2004. He graduated from The University of Florida College of Medicine in 2008 and was selected for The Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Prendergast completed his internship at Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver Colorado in 2009, followed by a Clinical and Translational Science Program at The University of Alabama, at Birmingham (UAB) in 2011. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at UAB in July 2013 and is a board-certified diplomate of The American Board of Radiology.
Currently, Dr. Prendergast is a member of the Radiologic Society in North America (RSNA) the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO); and the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), where he has been appointed to the Resident Committee from 2011-2013.
