Dr. Brendan Curley specializes in breast cancer, lung cancer, colon and rectal cancers, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, non-Hodgkin’s and Hodgkin’s lymphomas, acute and chronic leukemias, multiple myeloma, and benign hematologic disorders including thrombocytopenia and anemia. He has a strong research background in improving patients’ quality of care and patient understanding of their diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Curley joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2014. He has been published in several medical journals, including The Journal of Oncology Practice, Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma, & Leukemia, and The American Journal of Medical Sciences. He authored the breast cancer chapter in the fourth edition of The Bethesda Handbook of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Curley is a multi-year winner of the American Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award, awarded to fellows with highly regarded research. During the fellowship, he was twice named Fellow of the Year and was recognized by the Department of Medicine for his academic excellence and research achievements.
Dr. Curley is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Curley values relationships with patients and community physicians alike. He will never hesitate to pick up the phone to call a patient regarding lab or x-ray results and works well with physicians in the community to get patients prompt, excellent medical care. He ensures patients understand their diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment strategies. He incorporates the latest research and has vast experience in all hematologic disorders and different types of cancer at varying stages.
