Brant K. Oelschlager MD

Dr. Oelschlager is the chief of the Division of General Surgery and a UW professor of surgery. He specializes in esophageal and gastric surgery, as well as, operations of the gastrointestinal tract. He has extensive experience in advanced minimally invasive procedures and has pioneered many of these techniques and procedures by introducing them in the Pacific Northwest for his patients.

Dr. Oelschlager is a board certified surgeon and the director for the surgical specialties at the Center for Esophageal & Gastric Surgery. He is the Byers Endowed Professor in Esophageal Research in the UW School of Medicine. Dr. Oelschlager is widely published and recognized both nationally and internationally for his expertise.
