Dr. Brown is an Affiliate Faculty member of the Indiana University Center for Bioethics. He is also Vice-Chair for Professional Development and Wellness and Associate Professor of Radiology for Indiana University School of Medicine, as well as Director of Fetal and Perinatal Imaging at Riley Hospital for Children.
Dr. Brown received his bachelor’s in political philosophy from the University of Dallas. He subsequently received his master’s in bioethics and his MD from Indiana University in a combined graduate program. Dr. Brown completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Indiana University and a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Brown conducts research on professionalism and ethical education in medicine and other various topics in perinatal ethics. His research goal is to strengthen interdisciplinary discussion and ethical awareness among fetal and neonatal healthcare professionals. Additionally, Dr. Brown devotes much time to clinical fetal imaging research and has established a fetal MRI program and diagnostic center at Riley Hospital, with ties to various other medical subspecialties.
