Dr. Bradley D. Anawalt, M.D., is the UW Medical Center’s chief of Medicine and a board-certified physician at the Endocrine and Diabetes Care Center at UW Medical Center – Roosevelt and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. He is also vice chair of UW's Department of Medicine and a UW professor of General Internal Medicine. He has been selected on local and national lists of "Best Doctors."
Dr. Anawalt is a hormone specialist whose clinical interests include thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, male infertility, low testosterone, and other hormonal abnormalities. He enjoys answering patients' questions and addressing their concerns. Dr. Anawalt earned his M.D. at UC Davis. His primary research interests are focused on the effects of testosterone in men. He has published widely on this topic. He has served in leadership roles in the Endocrine Society and acts as a consultant for the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
