Dr. Naraev has clinical and research interests in neuroendocrine tumors. He takes care of patients with different types of neuroendocrine tumors in any location. Dr. Naraev is a member of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS), and ASCO, the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Prior to joining the Anderson Family Cancer Institute, he led the Neuroendocrine Cancer Program at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, Arizona. “I believe in compassionate, personalized cancer care that is focused on my patients, their hopes, needs, and quality of life,” says Dr. Naraev. He has been working with NET patients for over 10 years.
Among Dr. Naraev’s publications are papers on peptide receptor radionuclide therapy for NET patients, including those with advanced lung NETs and pancreatic NETs; management of diarrhea in patients with carcinoid syndrome; and the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society Consensus Guidelines for Surveillance and Medical Management of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors.
