Dr. Bohumil Seifert Certificated at the Charles University in Prague in 1981. Specialised in general practice in Prague, 1985. Currently working part time in a teaching general practice in Prague. In 2009 he was appointed as an associated professor at Charles University in Prague.
He has been a leading person in colorectal cancer screening programme in the Czech Republic since the beginning in 2000, published several articles and presented data on the screening at local and international meetings (UEGW, DDW, WONCA). He served as a scientific secretary of ESPCG for 3 years. He was a chair of the Organising Committee of the WONCA World Conference in Prague, in June 2013.
