Bohdan W. Chopko, Ph.D., M.D. has joined the Stanford University-St. Rose Neurosurgery Clinic in Henderson, NV, in partnership with Dr. Randal Peoples.

Dr. Chopko, a native of Ohio, completed medical school at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, where he also completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. He received his residency training in neurological surgery at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center, where also completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology under the direction of Dr. Charles Kerber. Dr. Chopko then returned to Ohio and was in private practice for 13 years in Mansfield, where he served as medical director of the Minimally Invasive and Neuroendovascular Surgery Lab at MedCentral Health Systems. During that period, he also was an associate professor in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the Northeast Ohio Medical University. In summer of 2013, he then moved into his current position as associate professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University.
