Bobby Collins

Dr. Collins is an associate professor and Section Chief, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to joining the ECU SoDM faculty in 2011, he was on the oral medicine and pathology faculty of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for fifteen years. Dr. Collins received his DDS degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1983. He served as a dental officer in the US Army from 1984 to 1992. Upon his resignation from active duty at the rank of Major, Dr. Collins entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology residency program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Following his residency training, he completed a one year Head and Neck Pathology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
