Bob Hurtz BS, MS

Bob Hurtz is the head of diabetes care product engineering at Bayer HealthCare in Tarrytown, NY. In this role, Hurtz is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the Bayer Diabetes Care Blood Glucose Meter and Mobile Diabetes Management Software platforms, products and user experiences. He works to create systems, products and solutions that provide distinctive, brand-enhancing user experiences for both diabetes patients and their health care providers. Previously, Hurtz held roles at Bayer focused on medical device software development, leading to the launch of the Contour Next family of blood glucose meters.
