Blythe is a classically trained immunologist with over 15 years of experience in the field. She established herself as a T cell biologist while doing my graduate work and expanded her skill set as a postdoc and staff scientist working with models of B cell lymphoma, as well as autoimmunity and inflammation. In addition, she have gained extensive experience working with human cells while studying patients with primary immunodeficiency disorders and working on lentiviral based gene delivery systems for therapy.

She is currently focused on developing CAR T cell therapies and using CRISPER gene editing to enhance the efficacy of these products. Her breadth of experience in a variety of fields of immunology make her confident that she can tackle very different projects and contribute useful insight from several points of view. She is looking for a position where she can work with a team that is excited, motivated and working towards the common goal of developing immunotherapies for direct patient care.
