Bjarni Elvar Pjetursson DDS, DMD, PhD

He got his specialist certificate in periodontology (EFP & SSP), Masters of Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Dr. med. dent from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bern in 2003 and finished his postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the University of Berne in 2005. He got his PhD from University of Iceland. From 2005-2008 he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Fixed Prosthodontics, University of Berne. Presently he is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry and Dean, Faculty of Odontology, University of Iceland.
