Bjarki Johannesson PhD

Dr Johannesson focuses on applying automation technologies and advanced computational analysis to the generation and characterization of stem cell-derived pancreatic beta cells in the context of disease modelling, and cell replacement therapies for diabetes. He completed his PhD at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and is an alumnus of the NYSCF-Druckenmiller postdoctoral fellowship program.
