Birgit Reitmaier PhD, MBA

Birgit Reitmaier is Head of Access to Innovation APAC at the Biopharma division of Merck. In this role she scouts for and transacts on collaboration opportunities in the APAC region. She has worked in business development at Merck since 2009. Prior to that Birgit worked for a skin-research focused biotechnology company near Munich, as Project Director. She obtained her MBA from Henley Management College and her doctorate in chemistry from the University of Mainz. Merck is a leading science and technology company in healthcare, life science and performance materials.
